Where is the festival taking place?
The festival will take place in the Village of Minto, New Brunswick. Part of the newly-formed Municipality of Grand Lake, Minto is located roughly 45 minutes from the Capital City of Fredericton, 1hr 45 minutes from Moncton, and 1h 30 minutes from Saint John.
Our main stage will be featured at Tiny Trails, located at 164 New England Road in Minto, New Brunswick. (P.s. If you’ve looked it up on google maps, please ignore the street view photo… they’re working on having that updated). Visit tinytrails.ca for more information, or better yet, stop by and check them out during the weekends in the summer! Signage will be in place to guide you in on festival weekend.
The second stage is at the Minto Legion, fittingly located at 16 Legion Street. This venue is located about a 2 minute drive from Tiny Trails.
Why have a festival here?
Why NOT have a festival here?? With such a unique history, and an inspirational comeback in the works, the Village of Minto is up-and-coming and we want to celebrate everything that this little village and the wonderful people in it have to offer. The festival was founded by dedicated music lovers and supporters of the Mountain Bike Minto trail system built on the historical coal mines in the community. Drawing inspiration from the rich musical and cultural roots of the community and blending them with the new opportunities the trails bring for celebration is the inspiration for this unique event.
