Natalie was born and raised in Miramichi and is one of many talented musicians in her family. Her father was her biggest inspiration and introduced her to country music. She learned to play guitar at the age of 15 and began writing her own songs at 20 years old. Natalie recorded her first album of originals in 2000. She performs her song “On the River” with other musicians around Minto.
Natalie has lived the last 20 years in Fredericton and recently started playing publicly at many fundraisers, events, and shows including the 2025 Minto Community Resource Center Telethon. Natalie performed twice at the Ronnie Day Show with Pure Country in Marysville. She performed in her first festival, Trail Folk Music Festival, in Minto in 2025.
Natalie is currently working on new songs as she prepares to record a new album soon and is grateful for the opportunity to play with other talented musicians and the encouragement of the beautiful people in the community of Minto.
Big Easy exploded onto the Saint John rock scene in 1997, built from the Jolene Erb Band NV and powered by veterans Marc Normandeau, Scott Palmater, John Collier, Heath Foley, and later Wayne Dempsey on vocals. Known for high‑energy covers from U2, Zeppelin, Kravitz, Stones, Pink Floyd, Rush, and more, the band packed rooms and earned a loyal following with their tight musicianship and big‑stage presence.
They haven’t played together in over 15 years — but the legacy still hits like a power chord.
Scott Palmater, who now lives in Chipman, began playing when he was 14 and since then has spent decades playing live music on guitar, drums, and vocals. He has opened for Lawrence Gowan and April Wine. His music is an eclectic mix of recognizable tunes from the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and beyond. He looks forward to performing with Big Easy again at the Trail Folk Festival.
Route 10 is a band composed of the collective talents of well-established Minto and Fredericton musicians: Melvin Fraser, Eddie Richard, Landen Cormier, and Glen Brown. The group specializes in country and rock songs with rich, soaring harmonies and great grooves.
Ella Campbell is a country singer-songwriter from Fredericton, New Brunswick, whose distinctive voice commands attention and leaves a lasting impression. In 2025, she earned recognition as a Top 8 finalist at the North of Nowhere Emerging Artist Stage in Lindsay, Ontario, solidifying her place as an emerging talent to watch. Although only in the music scene for 2 years, Ella has been able to travel all over the Maritimes and into Ontario to showcase her talent. She was able to release her first single “Rollercoaster” in August of 2024, and released her newest single “More Than Your Ford” this October!
Shaped by a wide range of musical influences, she grew up surrounded by many genres, but it was the edge of rock paired with the heart of country that truly resonated. Drawing inspiration from artists such as Ella Langley, Miranda Lambert, and Sheryl Crow, Ella blends authenticity with grit, crafting a sound that is both powerful and deeply relatable.
Her performances reflect a natural ability to connect with audiences, whether through anthemic, high-energy songs or intimate, soul-baring ballads. Each lyric and melody reflects her dedication to storytelling.
As she continues to perform, write, and refine her craft, Ella is carving out her own space in the country-rock landscape, building momentum with every stage she steps onto.

Based in New Brunswick, Cathy Hutch’s musical journey began at a young age, inspired by her heros Ringo Starr and Davy Jones. Cathy is a multi-talented musician, songwriter & entertainer. She played with numerous bands over the years, playing both drums and guitar, including Tore Down, ERA, and The George Street Blues Project. She has opened for some of the biggest names in entertainment including Bonnie Raitt at a concert in 2009 and later for country star Carroll Baker.
Cathy has completed three nationwide tours, is the recipient of numerous awards, an advocate for autism, and has released 3 critically acclaimed albums.
ECMA winner Theresa Malenfant and renowned guitarist Scott Medford have become one of the most popular blues duo acts in the Atlantic provinces. They have been performing together in a band for years, but decided to work as a duo seven years ago. In that short time they managed to win second place in an International Blues Challenge (IBC) held in Memphis Tennessee.
Theresa and Scott have an intuitive way of working with each other, and the mutual respect and admiration for the other’s abilities is evident from their stage performance.
Theresa Malenfant has earned the nickname “Queen Bee of the Blues”. When you hear the first note you’ll know why. And she personally selected Scott Medford to be her guitarist speaking volumes about his level of playing.

Amy is a talented up-and-coming singer from Minto. She has been singing from the age of 10 and the dedication to her craft shows.
Amy has a beautiful, expressive voice and can move easily between all kinds of genres. Amy is heavily inspired by strong female vocalists like Billie Eilish, Adrianne Lenker, Yebba, and Stevie Nicks. Her setlist covers everything from Fleetwood Mac and Bob Dylan to Muddy Waters and Whitney Houston.
Fair warning – bring a tissue. She may make you shed a tear.
Formed in 1987, during a period when pre recorded music diminished opportunities for local acts, the Downtown Blues Band has grown from an informal collective of blues enthusiasts into one of Fredericton’s most recognized musical groups. The band mixes rhythm and blues with fund and good old rock and roll. The band is made up of seven musicians and features a powerhouse horn section, harmonica, guitar, and several vocalists.
The band has performed alongside notable artists such as Dan Aykroyd and has been actively involved in various charitable initiatives including raising funds for food relief and educational resources for students. As accomplished performers, the Downtown Blues Band maintains its tradition of performing at the Harvest Music Festival, having participated every year since the festival’s inception.
Kylie Fox is a genre-defying force of nature – equal parts Canadiana queen, free-spirited songbird, and tree hugging feminist. Her brand of Americana blends humour, wit, and 70s glitz to tell stories rooted in Canadian culture and sharply original observations of the world around her. She’s inspired by the whimsy of artists like Jenny Lewis and Adrianne Lenker, while being led by her deep love for the lyricism of Joni Mitchell and the empowering showmanship of Brandi Carlile.
With her distinct voice, two album releases, and years of touring, Fox has amassed a dedicated fanbase. In 2020 she released her debut album ‘Green’ and followed in 2024 with the release of her sophomore album, ‘Sequoia’. This album and “There are Only so Many Great Nights Tour” (a 40-date tour) led her to an ECMA nomination for Solo Artist of the Year, as well as notable performances at Toronto’s Come Together Festival and Canada Music Week.

Always a fan favourite, the Cunningham Haines Band is a high-energy, four-piece group from Fredericton, celebrated for their eclectic and crowd-pleasing sound. Calling themselves “four off-the-floor, rock ’n’ rollers,” the band blends rock, country, blues, and Celtic influences into a dynamic style that’s uniquely their own.
Mark’s love for playing songs he grew up listening to from the 60’s, 70’s, and a few from the next several decades was ingrained in him while living in Minto and then southern California. He got his inspiration from many of his musical heroes like The Eagles, James Taylor, The Beatles, Gordon Lightfoot, Kenny Loggins, Jim Croce, John Denver, and so many others. Mark lives in Tennessee and will make the trip home to join us again at the Trail Folk Festival.

The Shakes are a four-piece modern rock cover band hailing from Fredericton, NB. With a repertoire that spans decades, the band keeps dance floors full and rock fans satisfied.
