This year, the Trail Folk Music Festival is proud to introduce the NEW ARTIST SHOWCASE—a special addition designed to spotlight emerging talent. Rooted in the same spirit of community and creativity that defines the festival, this showcase offers two up-and-coming artists the opportunity to share their music on a festival stage and connect with new audiences in a meaningful way.
Selected artists will be featured as part of the official lineup, gaining valuable performance experience while being celebrated alongside established acts. The New Artist Showcase reflects the festival’s commitment to nurturing talent and creating space for fresh voices, ensuring the future of music continues to grow and thrive in Grand Lake.

She learned to play guitar at the age of 15 and began writing her own songs at 20 years old. Natalie recorded her first album of originals in 2000. She performs her song “On the River” with other musicians around Minto.
Natalie has lived the last 20 years in Fredericton and recently started playing publicly at many fundraisers, events, and shows including the 2025 Minto Community Resource Center Telethon. Natalie performed twice at the Ronnie Day Show with Pure Country in Marysville. She performed in her first festival, Trail Folk Music Festival, in Minto in 2025.
Natalie is currently working on new songs as she prepares to record a new album soon and is grateful for the opportunity to play with other talented musicians and the encouragement of the beautiful people in the community of Minto.
