Mark David Gallant’s love for playing songs he grew up around from the 60’s, 70’s and a few from the next several decades as well was ingrained in him while living in Minto New Brunswick Canada and Southern California.  He got his inspiration from many of his musical hero’s (Eagles, James Taylor, The Beatles, Gordon Lightfoot, Kenny Loggins, Jim Croce, John Denver, Dan Fogelberg) and so many others.   For well over 30+ years of playing music, Mark has specifically made it a point not to be center stage as a performer but preferably playing in the background in an effort to complement any music assignment from weddings, arts festivals, coffee shops, private parties and such.  “Living here in Nashville is quite humbling with the talent in musicianship all around me.  I am truly blessed to have the opportunity to play for those that’ll listen as it does my heart good to see people simply relaxing and having fun while I play them down memory lane”.  Mark lives here in Middle Tennessee and is currently working in the public safety business and has been for over 29 years now helping to save lives through advances in technology which also allows him a means to support his music habit.
